How long does a typical Time 4 Tutoring session last?

A Time 4 Tutoring session is 60 minutes.

Does T4T offer assistance for gifted and talented and honors students?

Yes.  Time 4 Tutoring teachers are ready and able to help all levels of students.

How often should my child attend tutoring sessions?

Time 4 Tutoring recommends two or three tutoring sessions a week in order to show optimum progress. Scheduling opportunities are flexible, so ask the teacher assigned to your child about times best suited to your personal schedule.

How will I know if my child is making progress using the Time 4 Tutoring program?

Ask the Time 4 Tutoring teacher assigned to your child to share progress reports with you on a regularly scheduled basis. You might also consider asking the teacher for a personal conference appointment to be sure you’re always in the loop.

Do Time 4 Tutoring teachers give the student answers or show them how to figure it out on their own?

At Time 4 Tutoring, students are taught how to solve problems on their own as well as learn to answer similar questions in the future.

Do Time 4 Tutoring students receive individualized attention from teachers?

Yes.  Each Time 4 Tutoring teacher works to get to know their students and provide them with one-on-one attention.

Are all Tutors certified teachers?

Yes. All Time 4 Tutoring tutors are licensed teachers currently active in K-12 education. Each tutor has completed background checks and security screenings required by the state in which they are licensed.

How do I know if my child needs a tutor?

If your child has been struggling with classwork and grades for a long time or seems to be overwhelmed by certain subjects you should consider a tutoring solution. If your child experiences difficulty with basic subjects such as math, reading and writing, or is scoring poorly on tests in these areas, sign them up for tutoring immediately. If your child continuously receives grades of “C” or lower in a subject or subjects, they need help.
